All shifting bookings are governed by our standard transit policy and comprehensive insurance terms.

1. Scope of Agreement

These terms and conditions apply to all packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking services provided by Elite Home Packers & Movers ("Company") to the customer ("Client"). By booking a moving service through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or in-person survey, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms. The Company operates from Prabhat Chauraha, Jankipuram, Lucknow 226021, Uttar Pradesh.

2. Quotations & Payments

All quotations are based on the information provided by the Client regarding the volume, weight, and nature of goods, the distance between pickup and delivery locations, and any special handling requirements. Final charges may be revised if the actual consignment differs materially from the initial survey. Payment terms include an advance booking amount at the time of confirmation and the balance due before or upon delivery, as specified in the quotation. All payments include applicable GST as per Government of India regulations.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for: providing accurate information about the items to be moved, ensuring clear access for the moving crew at both pickup and delivery locations, obtaining any necessary permissions from housing societies or building management, separating personal valuables (cash, jewelry, important documents) for self-transport, and being present (or appointing an authorized representative) at both locations during loading and unloading.

4. Insurance & Damage Claims Policy

Transit insurance is underwritten by authorized national general insurance providers. In the rare event of accidental damage during highway transit, the client must endorse the physical delivery receipt (Bilti/LR) at the time of unloading and notify our customer service desk within 48 hours with photographic proof.

5. Prohibited & Hazardous Goods

Clients are strictly prohibited from consigning contraband, currency notes, gold jewelry, firearms, ammunition, compressed gas cylinders, inflammable chemicals, or perishable foodstuffs. Elite Home Packers & Movers reserves the right to inspect packages before loading to maintain transportation safety.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Terms

Moves can be rescheduled or cancelled without financial penalty provided written notice is received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled packing slot. Advance booking tokens are fully refundable under our customer satisfaction guarantee.
